Pipeline Tools (Python):
1. Scene Assembly Tool :
I was looking for a way to keep all of my rigs organized, and couldn’t find anything to fit my needs, so I created this tool to keep rigs and other assets organized. It will import/reference your selection and copy all textures to the project folder and make them a relative path.
2. Mixamo to Maya Mocap Transfer Tool:
I am freelancing on an upcoming Unreal 5 animated music video project, and we needed a way for the animators to quickly transfer mocap to the Maya rigs. All the animator needs to do is import the mocap skeleton, click on the rig they want it to transfer to, and run the script. It will transfer FK, and IK data.
3. Maya to Unreal Game Anim Exporter:
This tool was built to save time on our music video production. A lot of time was spent, exporting, naming, importing, and finding the right location. With this script, animators can select the rig they want to export, the script, will autodetect the shot, naming convention, and export to the correct shot folder. You can also open Unreal, or run a unreal render in maya without opening the .uproject.
